Filson vertical filter separator is carefully engineered for eliminating solid and liquid particles from gas steam, especially for fine droplets(less than 5 micron). By using high quality filter elements made of fiberglass, Filson vertical separator can achieve a superior separation effect.

In Filson three-stage vertical filter separator, the removal of contaminants take place gradually. First, as fluid enters the filter separator vessel the gas velocity is decreased and the larger solid particles and liquid droplets are removed by gravity and hit on the separator.

Second, when the gas passes through Filson filter section, solid particles are captured by filter cartridges and liquid particles are coalesced into large droplets. The coalesced droplets range from 100 to 200 times than their original size at the inlet of filter elements.

Last, Filson vane mist eliminator is used to capture coalescent droplets by the second stage. Filson vane mist eliminate consists of a multiple number of uniformly spaced vanes which offer high efficiency with a great reliability and durability.
