Filson API 5L X42 pipe is a high pressure natural gas pipeline with a strong tolerance to temperature, acidity and industrial waste. It is particularly resistant to H2S or hydrogen sulfide corrosion. Compared to API 5L grade B pipe, it has relatively higher mechanical strength, thus making it resistant to cracking.
